FAQ

What shop owners ask first.

Is it always $8?

No. $8 per year is a launch price, only for the first 100 businesses. After that the price may change. Anyone who buys now keeps their licence until the end of the year they paid for.

Do I need internet to sell?

No. The system runs on the shop computer and the other registers connect over the shop network. Internet is only needed to activate and renew the licence. If the internet drops in the middle of the day, the sale goes on, and a register that loses its connection keeps selling and sends the sales to the server afterwards.

What computer do I need?

A computer running Windows 10 or 11 to act as the server. The other registers, tablets and phones open the system in the browser, connected to the same network.

Can I use only a phone, without a computer?

Not yet. The server, which stores everything, runs on a Windows computer (it uses its memory and disk). Phones and tablets open the register over the shop's Wi-Fi and can be installed as an app. A version with the server inside the phone is being studied.

Does it work in my country and my language?

The program speaks English, Español, Français, Kiswahili and Português. Each shop picks its country, its currency (40 currencies), its tax name and tax rates, and its date and time formats.

Is it certified for tax invoicing in my country?

No. YouDeal prints receipts, invoices and quotes, but it is not a certified fiscal system. Some countries require certified invoicing software or fiscal devices, so check your local rules (or ask your accountant) before using it for official invoices.

Where do I download the program?

At youdeal.mzdeal.co.mz/en/download. The file is the same for the free trial and for people who have paid: the licence only decides how long you can keep selling.

Where is my data stored?

On the shop computer. Nothing is sent to the internet unless you want it to be. The system makes backups every day and can save them in a folder of your OneDrive or Google Drive, in case the computer is stolen or breaks.

What happens when the year ends?

The program warns you during the 30 days before. If the licence expires, it switches to view-only mode: you can see everything, export everything and make backups, but you cannot record new sales. When you renew, it goes back to normal and you lose nothing.

What if I do not like it after paying?

You have 30 days from the payment to ask for your money back, on WhatsApp or by phone. We refund the $8 the same way you paid, within 7 business days. See the full policy.

Is paying online safe?

Yes. You pay through PayPal (with your PayPal account or a card). Your card details are entered with PayPal, never on this site, and we do not see or store them.

How many registers can I have?

The annual plan includes 1 shop and up to 3 registers. Need more? Talk to us on WhatsApp.

Does it work with scales, receipt printers and cash drawers?

Yes, along with barcode scanners. Scales and cash drawers work through a small helper program installed on each register. Because there are many models, the setup is done with your own scale and drawer; tell us the model and we will sort it out together during the trial.
